T Background Females need emotional intelligence (EI) for enhancing their leadership skills. Three important psychological dimensions of EI are emotional sensitivity, emotional maturity and emotional competency which motivate students to recognize truthfully, interpret honestly and handle tactfully the dynamics of their behavioral pattern. A female under optimal stress does bring out his or her best, however extremes of stress can result in stress induced disorders and deteriorating performances like leadership skills. Can yoga be of benefit in enhancing leadership skills in females? Objective To assess EI in females undergoing yoga based Mind Sound Resonance Technique (MSRT).en_US
